Senate budget - first look: Transportation

Good news first: the Senate does not include the ridiculous Mobility Fund into which Gov. Perdue would have sunk $99 million this year with plans to triple the annual appropriation within three years.

Transportation funding otherwise looks about the same, so this likely means the Senate also got rid of the 25% to 33% fee increases the governor had to pay for the mobility fund.
