Doug Bandow, who recently spoke here, writes about legislation backed by union bosses and promoted by Democrats eager for more union cash that would give unions still more power. Read Doug's piece here.

It's also worth noting that the brazenly spendthrift Congress has voted to cut spending for the one small part of the Department of Labor that has been monitoring union expenditures. The union bosses would much rather operate in the dark.
